Welcome to LootBox — AR Treasure Hunt! We ("Developer") are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and disclosed when you use LootBox (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to the terms described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
LootBox is a location-based AR game. To deliver the core gameplay experience, the App requires access to certain device features and may collect the following data:
- Precise Location (GPS): Required to detect nearby treasure chests, spawn chests around your position, and enable BOOST and World Chest Events. Location is used only while the App is in use and is not stored on our servers beyond what is needed to serve in-game content.
- Camera: Used exclusively for the AR Camera Mode to overlay treasure chests in your real-world view. No images or video are recorded, stored, or transmitted.
- Username / Display Name: Used to identify you on the in-game leaderboard. You choose this name yourself.
- Invite Code: A unique code linked to your session used to attribute referral bonuses. This is not tied to personally identifiable information.
- Solana Wallet Address: If you choose to connect a Solana wallet, your public wallet address is stored to enable LBOX token withdrawals. We never request or store your private key or seed phrase.
- Automatically collected data: Third-party services (advertising/analytics partners) may automatically collect your Device ID, OS version, usage events, and crash reports to help us improve the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To display and spawn treasure chests based on your real-time location
- To power the AR Camera Mode experience
- To credit Gold and LBOX rewards upon chest collection
- To process LBOX token withdrawals to your connected Solana wallet
- To display your username on the global leaderboard
- To attribute invite referral bonuses
- To improve app performance, fix bugs, and deliver new features
4. Location Data
LootBox uses your device's GPS only while the App is actively running in the foreground. We do not track your location in the background. Location data is used in real time to determine chest proximity and is not persistently stored or sold to third parties.
5. Blockchain & Wallet Data
LBOX token transactions are recorded on the Solana blockchain, which is a public, decentralized ledger. By connecting your wallet, you acknowledge that your public wallet address and on-chain transaction history are publicly visible on the blockchain. We do not control the blockchain and cannot delete or modify transaction records once submitted. We never request your private key, seed phrase, or any sensitive wallet credentials.
6. Third-Party Services
The App may integrate third-party services such as advertising networks (e.g., Google AdMob), analytics tools, and mapping SDKs (e.g., Google Maps) to support gameplay and free development. These third parties operate under their own privacy policies and may use cookies or device identifiers. We encourage you to review their respective policies.
7. In-App Purchases
If the App offers in-app purchases (e.g., BOOST activations, Gold packs), all payment transactions are processed securely by the platform provider (Google Play or Apple App Store). We do not collect or store any payment or financial information.
8. Children's Privacy
LootBox is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
9. Safety
Please always be aware of your surroundings while playing outdoors. Do not use the App while driving, cycling, or crossing the street. Respect all rules and regulations at public locations. The Developer is not responsible for any injury or damage resulting from real-world gameplay.
10. Security
We use commercially acceptable means to protect any data associated with our App. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable laws. Any updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
12. Account Deletion
You may request permanent deletion of your LootBox account and all associated data at any time. Submitting a request will delete your username, Gold balance, chest history, LBOX token balance, leaderboard ranking, and connected wallet association. This action cannot be undone.
