Welcome to Aro (Package: com.aroapp.android)! We ("Developer", "we", "us") are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. Aro is a guided 8-week pelvic floor conditioning program designed for men to locate, engage, and strengthen their pelvic floor muscles correctly at home without equipment.

Because men's sexual health and pelvic wellness are sensitive and personal matters, we designed Aro with a privacy-by-default architecture: your workout logs and training data never leave your smartphone. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected, how it is handled, and your rights when using Aro.

2. Information We Collect and Store

We believe in radical data minimization. We only collect or handle data necessary to provide a smooth, reliable experience:

On-Device Workout & Profile Data: Your responses to the onboarding questionnaire (goals, experience levels), current week and day in the 8-week program, routine completion history, streaks, session timers, and contraction duration targets are stored strictly locally on your device (using private app sandbox storage). This data is never sent to our servers.
No Account Required: You do not need to register with your name, phone number, email address, or social media profile to use Aro.
App Preferences & Notifications: Custom daily workout reminder times and audio/vibration haptic preferences are saved locally on your device.
Anonymous Diagnostics & Crash Data: To identify crashes, fix bugs, and ensure the app runs smoothly across Android devices, we may receive aggregated, non-personally identifiable diagnostic reports (such as Android OS version, device model, and crash stack traces) via Google Play Console Services.

3. How We Use Information

The minimal data managed within the App is used solely for:

Guiding you through your daily pelvic floor exercises and progression phases
Providing precise countdowns, contraction/relaxation haptic cues, and progress tracking
Triggering local notification reminders configured by you
Resolving technical issues and maintaining overall app performance and stability

Important Notice: Aro is an educational fitness and muscle conditioning application. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical diagnoses, clinical treatment, or medical advice. It is not intended to replace consultation, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified urologist, pelvic health physical therapist, or medical doctor. Always consult a healthcare professional if you experience pelvic pain, urinary symptoms, or other medical concerns.

5. Third-Party Services

Aro minimizes third-party SDK integrations. The third-party services that may be utilized include:

Google Play Services: Used for core Android runtime components, secure delivery of app updates, and crash diagnostics.
Google Play In-App Billing: Used to securely manage one-time unlocks or subscription access (if applicable). All payment data is handled exclusively by Google Play.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or usage data to third-party data brokers or behavioral advertising networks.

6. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

If you purchase premium access or subscriptions within Aro, your transactions are processed entirely and securely by Google Play. We do not collect, store, or have access to your credit card number, banking details, or billing address.

7. Children's Privacy

Aro is designed strictly for adults (individuals aged 18 and older). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children or minors under the age of 18. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has provided us with any data, please contact us immediately so that we can remove it.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard best practices to safeguard your data. Because workout routines and questionnaire responses are stored locally within the Android app's sandboxed storage, they are protected by Android's operating system security and permission model.

9. Data Retention & Deletion

Because your workout history and preferences reside locally on your device:

Instant Local Reset: You can delete all your workout history, streaks, and preferences at any time by simply tapping "Clear Data" in your device's Android App Settings, or by uninstalling the application.
Data Deletion Request: If you have contacted our support team or wish to request the deletion of any corresponding communication or technical logs, you can submit a request using our dedicated deletion page below.
